Tuesday Morning Inspiration

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

I was going through my photo folders and found the following. I hope they are of use to you :)

This nasheed is really peaceful - I hope you like it as much as I do. If anyone knows the meaning, please let me know!

Have a blessed day!

Wasalaam!

Try to Feel Him

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"

Allah created you, made you perfect. Just think you have eyes, brain, heart. Can you ever imagine the complex structure behind that ??
If you try to think about it deeply, it seriously takes so hard, it seems you can not take even a single breath forward because you are soooo complex. When you breath, with in a second your blood goes through whole of your body, provides blood to each vein then comes back.
Can you imagine this whole process in millisecond? But it is going with in you every moment, even you are thinking about it or not.

From the time you were born , till this present time can you imagine how many breaths you have taken? How many times you have used your highly mega pixel eyes? Highly sensitive ears? You can not count it..... just go one step forward... try to feel that who made you so complex? who is running you? When you constantly go a head you will feel your lord, your Allah , your creator , your maker . When you put your hand on heart and feel the breath,
YES, at that moment try to feel Allah , try to hear your breath, try to think who is running this? it can not happen on its own. When you eat something, feel a taste on your tongue, think who has given this taste to you?
Who has put these taste buds ? Try to think your creator at every moment you live. Then gradually turns toward Him, start worshiping Him, start talking to Him, you will feel that He is listening to you. Try to tell Him every thing in your life at every moment, make him your closest friend. For Once in a life, when you get to know Him, when you start feeling Him, you will have feeling that you have never felt.
You never thinks yourself alone, always there is someone who is taking care of You, protecting you, Listening you. YES, this is your Allah. Just Feel Him

Fever : A blessing in Disguise

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"

Fever wipes out ones sins and rids his body from dead substances and germs. It is a blessing in disguise.

The Prophet said: “When a believer gets sick or feverish, it is like metal when put on fire, the bad is gone and the good remains.” [Al-Bayhaqi]

He also describes the intensity of fever by saying: “Fever is coal from hell, get rid of it by using cold water.” [Ibn Maajah]

The Prophet forbade the cursing of fever by saying: “Do not curse a fever because it abolishes sins like fire abolishes dirt from iron.” [Ibn Maajah]

A bacterial or viral infection usually raises the temperature of a person, antibiotics are useless with viral infections, such as the influenza and the common cold, although the patient might sweat and have a very high fever.

How do chills occur and why ?

The temperature level in the temperature regulator rises suddenly form its normal level to a higher level, due to damage in the tissues, due to the release of temperature generating substances or due to dehydration. When this happens, the body temperature rises within a few hours to attain the new temperature.

During this period, the patient shivers and feels cold, even though the body temperature is high, because blood vessels in the skin contract. The chills remain until the body temperature reaches the new level set by the temperature regulator.

When the body temperature reaches that level, the chills stop and the patient feels neither warm nor cold. As long as the infection continues and the reason for the rise in temperature continues, the body temperature remains at this new level until Allaah permits recovery.

Then what is the cure ?

The Prophet tells us to reduce the fever with water. The same is still applied today. Putting cold pads on a patients forehead is still used in a lot of hospitals and by doctors even though fever reducing medicines are abundant, like aspirin, paracetamol (or acetaminophen, which is the active ingredient in Tylenol) and others.

Using water to reduce fevers is not limited to using cold pads. Drinking a lot of fluids is also helpful. This is also understood from the wordings of the Prophetic narration: “cool it with water.” Water is either what the patient drinks, what is given intravenously or what the patient puts on his face or body to cool the fever.

We have seen a lot of patients where fever reducing medicines (antipyretics) were not effective with their rising fever. At the same time, cold water had an immediate effect. Thats why pediatricians advise parents to take a childs clothes off and give a lot of fluids if a fever occurs. An antipyretic might also be give like paracetamol. Aspirin has been banned for children under 12 years of age.

What is fever ?

Fever occurs when the body temperature rises above normal (37 C). There is an area in the brain (an area that lies over the pituitary gland in the front of the head) which is a temperature regulator.

When a germ enters the body, it starts secreting toxins. Toxins affect the temperature regulator causing its temperature to rise. The substances that cause this rise in temperature are called pyrogens. Pyrogens are caused not only by germs but also by the ruined tissues in the body after being affected with germs.

When the temperature rises in the temperature regulator, the rest of the body has to comply. It increases its temperature in response. Soon, the whole body feels feverish and the patients temperature rises. This explains the saying of the Prophet when he described the believers in their kindness and affections like the body. If a part of it suffers from a germ or a virus, like inflammation in the respiratory pathways or inflammation of the urinary tracts and others, all of the body suffers from fever and restlessness.

Yes the whole body suffers. The whole body has a rise in temperature and not only where it is affected. When the inflammation worsens, the germs increase and consequently ruin the tissues. The germs and the pyrogens will find the body’s defense system ready to attack and eat the by-products of the germs and rid the body of them. While doing this, it releases to the body fluids a substance called leukocyte pyrogens or endogenous. Therefore the fever remains while the body is cleansing itself from the by-products.

Didn’t the Prophet say, when a man cursed the fever: “Dont curse it because it abolishes sins like fire abolishes dirt from iron.”

It is a cleansing of our sins, a cleansing of dead substances such as dead tissue and the by-products of the germs, like fire cleans the dirt from iron.

The Prophet, sallallahu alayhe wa sallam, said: “For every ailment, there is a cure. If the cure reaches the ailment, it is cured by the will of Allaah.” [Muslim]

That explains the known phenomena that aspirin does not reduce the temperature of a normal person who is not feverish. That is because he does not have these endogenous in his body to work on the hypothalamus.

Why Duas are not answered

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"

1. When the Du'a' is weak in itself, because it involves something inappropriate, or involves bad manners towards Allah, may He be exalted, or it is inappropriate, which means asking Allah for something which it is not permitted to ask, e.g. when a man asks to live forever in this world, or he asks for a sin or something Haram, or he prays that he will die, and so on. Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"A person's Du'a will continue to be answered so long as he does not pray for something sinful or for the breaking of family ties." [Narrated by Muslim]

2. When the person who is making Du'a' is weak in himself, because he is faint-hearted in his turning towards Allah. This may be either because of bad manners towards Allah, may He be exalted - such as raising his voice in Du'a' or making Du'a' in the manner of one who thinks he has no need of Allah; or because he pays too much attention to the wording and tries to come up with unnecessarily ornate phrases, without paying attention to the meaning; or because he tries too hard to weep or shout without really feeling it, or he goes to extremes in that.

3. The reason why his Du'a' is not answered may be because he has done something that Allah has forbidden, such as having Haram wealth - whether it be food or drink or clothing or accommodation or transportation, or he has taken a Haram job, or the stain of sin is still in his heart, or he is following Bid'ah (innovation) in religion, or his heart has been overtaken by negligence.

4. Consuming Haram wealth. This is one of the major reasons why Du'as are not answered. Abu Hurairah said: the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people, Allah is Good and only accepts that which is good. Allah commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as He gave to the Messengers. He says (interpretation of the meaning):

'O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibat [all kinds of Halal (lawful) foods which Allah has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do' [Noble Quran 23:51]

'O you who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you with' [Noble Quran 2:172]

Then he mentioned a man who has travelled on a long journey and is disheveled and covered with dust; he stretches forth his hands to the heaven, (saying):

"O Lord, O Lord", but his food is Haram, his drink is Haram, all his nourishment is Haram, so how can he Du'a' be accepted?" [Narrated by Muslim]

The man described by the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) had some of the characteristics which help Du'as to be answered - he was travelling and he was in need of Allah, may He be exalted and glorified - but the fact that he consumed Haram wealth prevented his Du'a' from being answered. We ask Allah to keep us safe and sound.

5. Trying to hasten the response.
Abu Hurairah said: the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Du'a of any one of you will be answered so long as he is not impatient and says, 'I made Du'a but it was not answered.'" [Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim]

6. Making the Du'a conditional, such as saying, "O Allah, forgive me if You will" or "O Allah, have mercy upon me if You will." The person who makes Du'a has to be resolute in his supplication, striving hard and earnestly repeating his Du'a.

The Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let not any one of you say, 'O Allah, forgive me if You will, O Allah, have mercy on me if You will.' Let him be resolute in the matter, whilst knowing that no one can compel Allah to do anything." [Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim]

In order for Du'as to be answered, it is not essential to adhere to all of these points and be free of all that could prevent one's Du'as from being answered. That is something which happens very rarely. But one has to try hard and strive towards achieving this.

Another important point is to realize that the response to the Du'a may take different forms: either Allah will respond and fulfill the desire of the person who made the Du'a', or He will ward off some evil from him because of the Du'a, or He will make something good easy for him to attain because of it, or He will save it with Him for him on the Day of Resurrection when he will be most in need of it.

And Allah knows best.a

Know all about the Islamic month - Safar

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"

Alhamdulillah, we are into second Islamic month - Safar. Generally, people of sub-continent, take this month, especially , 13 days of safar as bad-omen. They don't start up good works be it inaugraton of bussiness, or weddings ----

Remember that our deen is Islam which guides us about each and every aspect of life. We only can find these guide lines in Quraan and Sunnah (the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad).

Get the truth about the month of Safar and know that there are no Superstitions, bad omens, unfortunate, Calamities, Prohibition of marriage related to this month.

Safar literally means whistling of winds.
This name was given because of the weather condition of that time.

What events took place in the history of month of Safar?

1: The Beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (saw) Fatima (R.A) married Ali (R.A) in this month.
2: Prophet Muhammad fell sick in the end of this month and died in the same sickness in the next month in 12th of Rabiul-Awwal.
3: Ghazwa-e- Khaiber (battle) took place in the same month.
4: Battle of Abwaa also took place in month of Safar.

What is the misconception about Safar?

Unlucky happenings such as Diseases, curses, evils, loss in business and all the misfortunes are relayed to that month.People try to apply many tricks to protect themselves from all the misfortunes, but this concept is nothing more than a misconception based upon the poor knowledge of Islam.

No Muslim should fell into these conceptions which had no foundations on truth.

What Prophet Muhammad guides us about Safar?

Prophet Muhammad said about Safar;“No adwaa [transmission of infectious disease
without the permission of Allah], no tiyarah [superstitious belief in bird omens], no haamah [refers to a Jaahili Arab tradition described variously as: a worm that infests the grave of a murder victim until he is avenged; an owl; or the bones of a dead person turned into a bird that could fly], and no Safar [the month of Safar was regarded as “unlucky” in the Jaahiliyyah].”

[Translators notes are in square brackets]. (Reported by al-Bukhari, 5757, and Muslim, 2220)

What does the companions of prophet Muhammad (sahabah) said about this month?

Jaabir (R.A) very clearly mentions about the superstitions and the wrong concept of Safar:

"I have heard the Prophet saying, the descending of illness and evil superstition befalling in the month of Safar is untrue." (Muslim)

What Quraan says about month of Safar?

Quraan explicitly rejects this concept of bad omen by saying;

And [for] every person We have imposed his fate upon his neck, and We will produce for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will encounter spread open. [It will be said], "Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant."
(13, 14 sura bani israeel)

What comes to you of good is from Allah, but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself. And We have sent you, [O Muhammad], to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is Allah as Witness.
(79 surah anisa)

There is no bad omens,or calamities in any person or any month or any date or number in Islam. If some thing wrong happens with someone it is due to their evil deeds. We have to work on our self to remove calamities from our life.

10 Green Ahadith, Ecological Advice From Prophet Muhammad

Ten beautiful quotes from Prophet Muhammad of Islam ï·º (peace and blessings be upon him), on evergreen faith and ecological protection.

What makes a successful leader? Many world leaders and religious figures have advocated protection of planet Earth in their struggle to reach the top, but most have ultimately failed to create a long-lasting conservation plan.

Ashab al-Kahf - The Companions of the Cave

Ashab al-Kahf - The Companions of the Cave

In the most recent Catholic-Muslim dialogue this was delivered by our Islamic Scholar Dr. Muzamil Siddiqi

The Historical Background of the Revelation of this Story:

The Surah al-Kahf was revealed to the Prophet towards the middle period of his preaching in Makkah (between the 5th and 10 year after beginning his mission). During this period the Quraish (leading tribe of Makkah) escalated their opposition to the Prophet. They subject his followers to ruthless torture and severe economic deprivation. Some Muslims at this time migrated to Abyssinia. The Quraish then introduced a severe economic and social boycott against the Prophet and his followers, and forced them to confine themselves to the hilly side of Makkah, called Shi’b Abi Talib. This boycott continued for about three years.

It is reported that this Surah was revealed around this period in response to some questions posed by the Makkan polytheists. After consulting with some People of the Book (Jews and Christians) they put these questions to the Prophet:

1. Who were the Companions of the Cave?

2. What is the true nature of the story of Prophet Moses’ encounter with Khidr?

3. What is the story of Dhu al-Qarnain?

All these stories pertained to the Jewish and Christian history and were not much known to the people in the Arabian peninsula. The People of the Book selected these stories carefully so as to test whether or not any extraordinary source of knowledge was available to Prophet Muhammad – peace be upon him.

Allah swt revealed these stories to the Prophet –peace be upon him- not only to give answers the questions raised but also to build the morale of Muslims and help them get some lessons for their own particular situation.

The Themes of the Surah al-Kahf:

The Surah begins with the following words:

“Praise be to God, who sent down the Scripture to His servant and placed no crookedness in it. (He made it) straight, giving warning of severe punishment from Him and giving good news to the believers who do good deeds that theirs will be an excellent reward where they shall abide forever.” (Al-Kahf 18:1-3)

There are several authentic Ahadith (plural of Hadith – saying of Prophet Muhammad) that mention the power and affects of this Surah on its faithful readers. It is mentioned that this Surah brings Sakinah (comfort and peace of the heart); it gives to its readers the light that will shine for them in this life and in the eternal life. It is also mentioned that those who will remember this Surah and pay attention to it will be saved from the Trials of Dajjal (the Deceiver or Anti-Christ) . Muslims generally recite this Surah every Friday.

When we reflect on this Surah we see that the Surah mentions four main stories in some details and in the middle of these stories it also refers to the story of Iblis (the Devil) who refused to obey God’s command to honor Adam and instead became the enemy of all human beings. The four main stories of this Surah are:

1. Story of the Companions of the Cave

2. Story of the owner of two gardens

3. Story of Prophet Moses –peace be upon him- with a mysterious teacher (The Qur’an does not mention the name of this person, but he is generally known as the angelic figure, Khidr – peace be upon him)

4. Story of the king Dhu al-Qarnain (meaning ‘the one of two horns’ probably referring to his vast eastern and western kingdoms. The Qur’an mentions only his title without identifying him with his real name)

The theme of all these stories is one and the same. They all tell us about the trials of life. People are tested by different trials and Devil is there is to mislead them and make difficult their path of success and salvation.

1. The story of the Companions of the Cave tells about the trials of faith. It tells us how the people of faith are tested and tied in different ways, but those who remain firm and patient are protected by God.

2. The story of the owner of the two gardens is basically the story of trials of wealth and riches. It tells us that wealth and riches could be very tempting and deceiving and often take people away from the right path.

3. Prophet Moses –peace be upon him- had to learn some lessons from an angelic figure known as Khidr. This story tells us about the Trials of Knowledge. We may think that we know everything; but no one, even God’s prophets, can grasp all the mysteries of the events in this world. Knowledge requires a lot of patience and humility and ultimate knowledge belong to God alone.

4. The Story of Dhu al-Qarnain tells us about a great king who had to deal with all kind of people. He moved fast from one direction to another direction. He met good people as well as rebellious groups in his kingdom. People of diverse backgrounds and languages used to live in his domain. This righteous king wherever he went he did good things. He was powerful, intelligent and resourceful. He was also humble and devout. He did not charge his subjects excessive taxes for any projects that he performed. The power and authority did not corrupt him. This is the story of the trials of power and position.

The Surah ends with these words:

Say, ‘Shall we tell you who the biggest losers are according to their actions? It is those whose efforts are lost in this world and they think that they are doing well.’ They disbelieve in their Lord’s message and deny that they will meet Him. Their deeds come to nothing on the Day of Resurrection; We shall give them no weight. Their recompense will be Hell because they disbelieved and made fun of My message and My messengers.

But those who believe and do good deeds shall have as a gift the Gardens of Paradise. They shall remain there forever, never wishing to leave. Say, ‘If the ocean were ink for (writing) the words of my Lord, it would run dry before those words were exhausted’ – even if We were to add another ocean to it. Say (Prophet), ‘I am only a human being, like you, to whom it has been revealed that your God is One. Anyone who hopes to meet his Lord should do good deeds and give no one a share in the worship due to his Lord.” (Al-Kahf 18:103-110)

Some lessons to learn:
It seems that the Qur’an has abstracted this story from its particularities and has universalized it for all people and for all times. The story could be of people of any time or place. It could be the story of the people of any faith; but it has a message and this message should be learned. The message is:

1. There is only one God. Stay firm on this faith.

2. Do not give up your faith under hardship or trials

3. God has unique ways to help those who are sincere and faithful

4. Time and history are all in the power of God and God has total control over them.

5. Material power is not permanent; it is the spiritual that will abide.

6. People of truth are found in all places and times; truth is not the exclusive property of any one group or nation.

7. God tests people. Those who suffer are not necessarily bad people and those who prosper are not necessarily good people.

8. The truth will ultimately succeed.

9. God’s promise of help and support is true.

10. The Resurrection will definitely take place.

One Flaw in Women

One Flaw in Women

As Salamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

This is a general sharing. Hope you all agree with the content of this article

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy

and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they

think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss

can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what

makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.

They have compassion and ideas.

They give moral support to their

family and friends.

Women have vital things to say

and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

The touch

The touch

As Salamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

In the name of Allah swt, the Most beneficient and The Merciful

Indeed, Allaah has forbidden the Muslims from fornication and all the pathways, which lead to it. He (T) has said (which means):

"And do not come near zinaa (fornication)! Indeed, it is an abomination, and an evil way." (Al-Israa': 32)

Among the many things that excite passions between a man and a woman, is touching. Thus, touching, which opens the door to fornication, is also forbidden as it is a form of fornication, since the Prophet (S) said:

The eyes fornicate. Their fornication is the (illegal) look. The hands fornicate. Their fornication is the touch. The feet fornicate. Their fornication is the walking (towards a woman). The heart desires, and the private parts either confirm it or deny it. (Al-Bukhaaree)

Unfortunately, some form of this type of fornication is unavoidable. Although, we may not commit the indecent sexual act itself, indeed, our eyes, our hands, and our feet fornicate at least once in our lives. There is no doubt about that, as the Prophet (S) said:

Every one of the sons of Aadam has his share of fornication written for him. (Al-Bukhaaree)

Therefore, we must try our best to avoid fornication and every pathway leading to it. Since the hand has the capability of fornicating, then it is forbidden for the woman to touch a man that is not a mahram to her. A mahram is someone that the Muslim woman is permitted to uncover (her veil) in front of. They consist of her father, husband, brother, mother's brothers, father's brothers, and all the others mentioned in Sooraat an-Noor: 31 in the Qur'aan. We shall present a brief look at the evidences prohibiting non-related men and women from touching each other, from three perspectives:

The Warning from the Prophet (S)

The Prophet (S) said:

It is better for a spike to be driven into your head than for you to touch a woman that is not permissible for you (to touch). (Recorded by at-Tabaraanee in al-Kabeer)

According to the above narration, we can plainly see the prohibition of a man touching a woman. Although the Prophet (S) did not directly command the Muslims to not do it, his statements show the severity of the consequences of committing such an act. If it were allowed to touch non-related men and women, then the Prophet (S) would not have spoken so drastically of the one who does so. Consequently, it is forbidden for the man to touch any woman that he is not a mahram for, as well as a woman to touch any man that is not a mahram to her. This is the opinion that the majority of the scholars have taken and it is the truth of which there is no doubt.

Ahmad Bin Hanbal (r) said:

"The specified look at women-strangers, as well as touching them is forbidden."(Al-Muntahaa)

Commenting on the hadeeth, al-Albaanee said:

"In this hadeeth, there is a severe threat to he who touches a woman that is not permissible for him. In it is also a proof for the prohibition of shaking hands with women, because that entails touching without a doubt. "(As-Saheehah: no. 226)

Apart from the above-mentioned men, the Muslim woman is not allowed to touch any man whether Muslim or non-Muslim. If she does so then she has fallen into sin and commenced on one of the many pathways toward fornication. And we seek Allaah's refuge from that!

Arguments

Although the above evidences and ruling based on such, may seem clear and evident, some raise arguments which may seem contradictory to what is established. However, they do not present a contradiction, and will be answered:

No Prohibition

Someone may say, "The Prophet (S) did not directly prohibit not touching women. His not doing so is only his Sunnah (example) and something only for him."

The claim that he (S) did not prohibit it, is a claim that could only be made by those who lack the knowledge of basic fiqh pricnibles. It is through these princibles that we understand how to apply Allaah's legislation. Among these basic princibles are the following;

1. Something is obligatory to avoid, if not doing so would incurr the commission of something prohibted. He (S) said;

It is better for a spike to be driven into your head than for you to touch a woman that is not permissible for you (to touch).

So avoiding "touching a woman" is obligatory, since it is worse that driving a spike into your head. So such a naive statment implies the following; "The Prophet (S) did not prohibit driving a spike into one's own head, rather, he only avoiding doing it as a Sunnah that was particular to him."!!!?

2. The usage of the statment "not permissible" implies "not permissible", unless there is a text to clarify that it is only disliked or abrogated, etc.

Ambiguity

One may say, "The hadeeth is not clear, since the word used for touch (massa) can either mean a touch with sexual desire or a touch without desire. Therefore, a touch with no lust involved is allowed (i.e. with an old man)."

This would be a possibility if there were conflicting texts, which is not the case here. For example, does touching the private part break wudhu' or not. Some narrations say, "It is part of him", whereas another says that it requires wudhu'. In this case, when two texts coincide, harmonization must be made, or abrogation must be demonstrated. So then this claim is a possibility. But on the other hand, passing wind breaks wudhu', weather it is done out of pleasure or not, and no one claims otherwise, and this is because there is no text to require that!

Not In The Qur'an

One may claim, "The command for not touching is in a hadeeth and not in the Qur'aan. Therefore, Allaah has not prohibited it.".

There are many texts to prove that the one who disobeys the Messenger has disobeyed Allaah. Therefore, when a person says this, it is more important for them to repent from the disbelief that they have expressed than to be concerned with the issue that we are discussing. Indeed saying a statement of kufr like this one, and believing in it, is worse than having a spike driven in one's head. Therefore we can only say as Allaah has said to Muhammad (S);

"Then if they disobey you, say, "Indeed I am innocent of what you do."" (Ash-Sha'raa' 26:216)

This is a two step process, first innocence is claimed, and then;

"So they disobeyed the Messengers of their Lord, so He punished them all with abounding destruction." (Al-Haaqah 69:10)

Then all of those who disobey the Messenger (S) are destroyed, either in this life or the Hereafter. So indeed this is a matter much worse than a spike in the head.

The Rule of Necessity

It is allowable for a man to touch a woman not related to him in the case of emergency, such as when a woman has no option but to be treated by a male-doctor, and she is in dire need of treatment, or when there is a life-or-death emergency. These examples fall under the rule of necessity.

"And the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement. But far better is the abode of the Hereafter for those have Taqwa. Will you not then understand!" - The Holy Qur'an
